The Qasid Arabic Institute in Amman, Jordan is pleased to announce its 3rd annual Scholarship Program. The institute offers these scholarships each year in recognition of student achievement and as an incentive for all to excel in their studies of the Arabic language. Through this program, Qasid aims to promote the advancement of the field of Arabic language studies, and to encourage a diverse and talented student body on its campus. The scholarships are thus being awarded on the basis of merit to undergraduate and graduate students interested in studying Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) or Classical Arabic at Qasid’s main campus in West Amman.
One student will be selected for each of the following two scholarships:
- 1 quarter’s tuition scholarship, valued at $2450
- Up to 5 quarters’ tuition scholarship, valued at up to $12250
Applications can be submitted online at Qasid’s website beginning 2012 November 1st, until the deadline of 2012 December 15th. Late submissions will not be reviewed.
Scholarship recipients will also be interested to know that they may apply for U.S. university credit for their studies at Qasid.
